1. Who we are and what these terms cover
UnStrike ("UnStrike", "we", "us") operates the website unstrike.tech, a free tool that screens images, videos, and audio for potential copyright issues using reverse image search and AI analysis (the "Service"). These Terms of Service (the "Terms") apply to everyone who visits or uses the Service. If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use the Service.
2. UnStrike is not legal advice
The risk scores, findings, use-case tables, and recommendations produced by the Service are automated estimates generated by AI models and reverse image search. They may be incomplete, outdated, or wrong. Copyright law differs between countries and often turns on facts an automated tool cannot evaluate, such as licensing history, context of use, and judicial interpretation. A "Low Risk" result does not mean your content is legally cleared, and a "High Risk" result does not mean it infringes anyone's rights.
For any commercial project, monetized content, merchandise, publication, or actual or threatened dispute, consult a qualified intellectual property attorney licensed in your jurisdiction before acting.
3. UnStrike has no role in platform decisions
UnStrike is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X, Twitch, or any other social media platform, nor with any rights-management organization or copyright authority.
- UnStrike is not an official assessor of copyright decisions for any social media platform. Its results have no influence on, and no predictive authority over, how any platform's copyright systems (such as Content ID) or review teams will treat your content.
- UnStrike is not responsible for copyright strikes, claims, takedowns, demonetization, account penalties, or any other enforcement action taken by a social media platform or rights holder against content you upload to that platform, including content that the Service previously rated as low risk.
- Each platform applies its own policies and detection systems. Passing an UnStrike scan does not exempt your content from those systems.
4. Using the Service
The Service is free to use and requires no account. In exchange, you agree to use it responsibly:
- Only upload content that you have the legal right to possess and analyze. Do not upload content that is illegal in your jurisdiction, that infringes another person's privacy, or that contains malware.
- Do not use the Service to plan, facilitate, or conceal copyright infringement. The Service exists to help you avoid infringement, not to help you evade detection of it.
- Do not attempt to probe, overload, scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the Service, its APIs, or its security measures, and do not use automated tools to submit scans at scale.
- Do not resell or misrepresent the Service or its results as an official clearance, certification, or legal determination.
We may limit, suspend, or block access to the Service (for example through rate limiting) to protect it from abuse.
5. Your files
Files you upload are processed to perform the scan you requested and are not stored by UnStrike. For reverse image search, an image or video frame is temporarily hosted through a third-party image host and set to auto-delete shortly afterward. Processing is performed by third-party providers (including AI and search providers) under their own terms. Details are in our Privacy Policy.
You retain all rights to the content you upload. By uploading, you grant us the limited permission needed to process it for the scan and nothing more.
6. Advertising
The Service is supported by advertising served through Google AdSense. Whether advertising cookies are used, and whether ads are personalized, is controlled by the choices you make in the cookie consent banner, which you can change at any time via "Cookie preference" in the footer. 7. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its results will identify every copyright risk or avoid false positives.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, UnStrike and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for any loss of revenue, profits, content, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service, including, without limitation, any copyright strike, claim, takedown, demonetization, or account action taken by a third-party platform against your content. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid to use the Service, which is zero.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
9. Age requirement
The Service is not directed at children under 13. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, use the Service only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
10. Changes to the Service and these Terms
We may modify or discontinue the Service, or update these Terms, at any time. When we make material changes to the Terms, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Nothing in this section deprives you of protections you are entitled to under the mandatory consumer laws of your country of residence.
