What to include so we can help faster
Something on the site isn't working
- What you were doing when it broke (e.g. "uploaded a 30 MB MP4 and the scan never finished")
- Your browser and device (e.g. Chrome on Android, Safari on Mac)
- The approximate time it happened, and a screenshot if you have one
A question about a scan result
- Which country you selected and what type of file you scanned
- What the result said and what part is unclear
- Please note we can explain how the tool works, but we cannot give legal advice about your specific content. For that, an intellectual property attorney is the right person
Copyright notices
If you are a rights holder reporting material on unstrike.tech itself, use the subject line "Copyright Notice" and include the details listed in our Copyright Policy so we can act on it without a back-and-forth.
Privacy requests
To ask about the data the site handles, or to exercise a privacy right, use the subject line "Privacy Request". Our Privacy Policy describes what is collected and how.
Before you email: quick answers
The scan failed or got stuck
Most scan failures are connection-related. Refresh the page and try again, and check your file is under 50 MB and in a supported format (MP4, MOV, AVI, MP3, WAV, JPG, PNG, GIF; HEIC is not supported). If it keeps failing, email us the details above.
Does a Low Risk score mean my content is safe?
No. It means the automated analysis found no obvious red flags. It is not a legal clearance and does not bind any platform's copyright system. See the Guidelines for how to interpret results.
I got a strike on a platform after scanning, can you remove it?
No. UnStrike has no connection to any platform's copyright system and cannot influence, appeal, or remove strikes. Disputes are handled through the platform's own appeal process, ideally with advice from an IP attorney if the stakes are significant.
Do you store my uploaded files?
No. Files are processed for the scan you requested and are not stored by UnStrike. For reverse image search, an image is temporarily hosted with an auto-delete window of about ten minutes. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
How do I change my cookie choices?
